The day brought people, interested in mission, from across the District together. Attendees were able to attend workshops throughout the day covering; inclusive and justice-seeking church, developing new Christian communities, mission and ministry alongside children, young people and young adults and daily missional discipleship.
The day also provided opportunities for those involved in mission to share stories and positive experiences. It was inspiring to hear the different ways in which churches are approaching mission in the District and the ways in which Methodist churches are connecting with people in their local communities.
Thank you to everyone involved in organising this day and those that took the time to attend – we hope that you left feeling inspired and more equipped to take forward mission.
