On Friday 20 February 2026, Freckleton Methodist Church hosted their latest “An Evening With…” event, welcoming Fylde MP Andrew Snowden for a community-led discussion.
The event was hosted by Rev Phil Gough, District Secretary for Ministry and Vocations, and was aimed at fostering open and honest dialogue between the public and local leaders. An alcohol-free bar from the Coach and Horses was provided for attendees. The Q&A session covered the personal pressures of public office, the importance of integrity in leadership, and specific local priorities across Fylde. The evening concluded by praying for Andrew, and for all MPs and others in public office.
Phil noted that the evening was very thought-provoking, and a privilege to be a part of. He thanked Andrew for his time, openness and honesty in exploring faith in politics. He also expressed his gratitude to the volunteers who organised the hall and the local residents who contributed to the event.
