As part of the church’s engagement with families in Knutsford and to bring a little light to an otherwise scary evening, Knutsford Methodist Church (in the Greater Manchester Plus Mission Area) join in with the Knutsford Pumpkin Trail on Halloween.
During this event, they share the story of their Christian Pumpkins. The pumpkins have stars for the eyes, to remind us of Christmas; a cross for the nose to remind us of Easter; and a big smiley face to let the light shine out, remembering that Jesus said “I am the light of the world”. KMC greeted about 1000 children during the evening and let them know that God loves them and that they do not need to be afraid.
