This Advent, we are taking part in a live interactive Advent experience called the Journey to Bethlehem Eco Community Challenge. Throughout Advent we will be looking for Jesus in the everyday places, with a daily mini Jesus appearing in a different local place around the community, each linked to a simple environmental challenge for the day.
People are invited to journey with us through Advent in whatever way they wish, walking, wheeling, cycling, crawling, running, and to log their steps and miles as we aim together to cover the 90-mile journey that Mary and Joseph travelled to Bethlehem.
If you are not local to Marple, you are still very welcome to take part by logging your movement from wherever you are and following our daily journey online.
Updates, reflections and the journey progress will be shared on our Facebook page:
