Hosted by the Learning Network, lay employees from across the North West England District gathered together for a resourcing day at Leyland Methodist Church, a further gathering took place online.
Those in attendance were able to join in worship, fellowship, lunch and workshops. It was an opportunity to hear other stories to inspire and challenge, and for attendees to share their own stories and songs.
During the in-person day, there were a number of workshops including, a Bible workshop with Jasmine – “From Story to Song: Deborah’s Legacy” ; song sharing with Phil – “What are our songs?” or “Creating a spiritual patchwork: enabling everyone to share their story in creative ways” with Alison and Mel.
