Thank you to everyone who took part in our District Christmas Card Competition this year. We received a huge number of entries from right across the District and we were delighted by the creativity, imagination and Christmas spirit shown in all the entries.
Our judging panel found choosing a winner to be a difficult task.
We’re pleased to announce that William Brennan from Colne Methodist Church is the winner of our Christmas Card Competition! His design received the highest score from our judges and will feature on the front cover of the District Christmas Card.
Due to the number of fantastic entries we received, three runner-up have also been chosen and these are:
Dolly-Mae Harris – St Andrew’s Methodist Primary School
Fearne Allen – Torrisholme Methodist Church
Mila Sumner, Burscough Methodist Church
The designs submitted by our three runners-up will feature on the reverse of the District Christmas Card.
A big well done also goes to all who entered your artwork brought plenty of Christmas cheer and made judging this competition a challenge.
Thank you for helping us celebrate Christmas in such a creative way, and we wish everyone a joyful and peaceful Christmas.
